Rochester Hosts Tax Savings Workshop for Seniors

Rochester homeowners 65 and older can learn about property tax savings at a city workshop Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Rochester City Hall.

The workshop will cover the Senior Citizen Tax Exemption and other tax relief programs. Staff will answer questions, review eligibility and help residents understand what documents they need to apply.
Attendees should bring proof of age, income and property ownership if available.
Those who can’t attend can call the Senior Exemption Hotline at 585-428-6994, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
