Rochester City Council Voted Yesterday Afternoon on Police Reform

After the death of George Floyd, Governor Andrew Cuomo ordered, “revised visions for reimagining policing.” This proposal was voted on yesterday afternoon.
Here is all you need to know about the proposal:
“The proposal calls for reducing the size of the police force over the course of the next one to three years, and increasing the size of the Crisis Intervention Team to make officials available 24 hours a day. Recommendations from City Council also call for rethinking of pretextual stops.”
The plan must be submitted on Thursday this week.
