ROC airport nominated for USA Today Best Small Airport list

The Frederick Douglass Greater Rochester International Airport has been nominated for USA Today’s 10Best Readers’ Choice Award for Best Small Airport. A panel selected 20 airports for the award, and the top 10 will be decided by public voting, which ends on September 23. Monroe County Executive Adam Bello praised the airport’s dedication to providing a top-quality passenger experience, noting that such recognition could attract new airlines and destinations. The Rochester airport ranked 10th in the 2023 list and served over 2.6 million travelers that year, the highest in 15 years. Bello encourages the community to vote and help the airport secure this prestigious award again.
