As we patiently wait for new music from the iconic Rihanna, it seems as though we are stuck in nostalgia. This past week, Rihanna’s 2013 hit “Stay” has now surpassed one-billion streams on YouTube. ‘Stay’ features Nashville artist and producer Mikky Ekko and back in 2013 her album featuring this song, Unapologetic, peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100s. ‘Stay’ joins “Work,” feat. Drake, “Diamonds,” and “We Found Love,” feat. Calvin Harris, in surpassing one-billon views on YouTube.

Speaking of billions, Rihanna’s billionaire status was further determined after her Fenty cosmetics line kicked off. According to Forbes, RiRi’s net worth is $1.7 billion, making her the wealthiest artist in the world as of August 2021, second to Oprah Winfrey as the world’s richest female entertainer.

Congrats, RiRi!
