A court has ruled that Chris Brown‘s ex-housekeeper, Maria Avila, has the right to collect his royalties and tour income to satisfy a $13 million judgment following a dog attack.

Court Reportedly Rules Chris Brown’s Ex-Housekeeper, Maria Avila, Has Right To Collect Royalties & Tour Income

According to TMZ, a Los Angeles judge has ruled that his ex-housekeeper, Maria Avila, “has a right to collect her judgment from what he’s bringing in on tour.” Per the outlet, court documents show that the judge has granted Avila’s request to use money from Brown’s royalties and tour income to satisfy the $13 million judgment she was recently awarded.

Per the outlet, it remains unclear whether Brown will request a reconsideration or appeal the ruling.

More On Chris Brown’s Royalties & Tour Income & Ex-Housekeeper’s $13M Judgment Following Dog Attack

As The Shade Room previously reported, Maria Avila was attacked by Chris Brown’s 200-pound shepherd in 2020. In July, a jury awarded her a $13 million judgment. This, after she was left with PTSD and severe scarring on her arm and face. Per Brown, he allegedly warned Avila not to go by his dogs without his security guards present prior to the attack.

More recently, earlier this month, Brown asked the court to block Avila’s collection of the $13 million. This, as he continues to tour alongside Usher on their ‘R&B’ tour, which was recently announced to have additional dates.
