Well this day comes around every year on March 9th on this day we remember the life of Christopher “Notorious B.I.G” Wallace.
I remember it was 1997 and I was a sophomore in high school, It was a Sunday morning when MTV news reported that Biggie Smalls was shot and killed in Los Angeles California after leaving a party.
Biggie came on the hip hop scene in the early nineties and put New York hip hop back in the forefront and releasing his debut album “Ready To Die”.
The Notorious B.I.G had a publicize beef with rapper Tupac that the media labeled a east cost west cost beef years later it was revealed that it was never that and that the coastal beef was used to sell records and magazines.
From Biggs debut album to his death he was successful with this career With countless hits features and artist’s he introduced to the game like Lil Kim, Jr Mafia, Jay Z, and Cam’ron to name a few.
Leading up to Biggies second album that was titled “Life After Death” and was released as a double CD BIG was killed just weeks before it’s released.
