Reign Review Out Of Town Eats: Sweet Chick

If you plan on going to New York City in the near future make sure you check out Sweet Chick. The experience is dope from the decor to the music and the food is excellent.
A couple of weeks ago I went to NYC for the weekend and had a chance to eat at Sweet Chick in Queens.
A little background on Sweet Chick it started in Williamsburg Brooklyn in 2013 by John Seymour. Sweet Chicks specializes in American cuisine with a southern accent. The dish they are most known for is their Chicken and Waffles.
My favorite Rap Artist of all time Nasir Jones aka Nas teamed up with Sweet Chick early 2015 through Peter Bittenbender CEO of Mass Appeal. Nas embraced the brand to help expand it beyond Brooklyn. Sweet Chicks now has a few locations through NYC, London, and Los Angeles.
Their mantra is Have Fun, Eat Well & Spread Love. That is exactly what I did!!
I went to the Sweet Chick in Queens which was super dope from the decor, music (classic hip hop), and staff was amazing. I ordered the Chicken and Waffles with a bowl of Carolina Cheese Grits and Home Fries whew it was delicious!!
The chicken was cooked perfectly and the waffles with the flavored butter oh my goodness so so good!
Sweet Chick is a MUST try if you are ever in New York or Los Angeles.
Oh, and shout out to the bartender and our server Latae. She made our overall experience super awesome. She is definitely the best – good vibes!!!
