Reggae Veteran And Father Of Morgan Heritage, Denroy Morgan, Dead at 76

Legendary Veteran Reggae singer and father of the Morgan Heritage family, Denroy Morgan, has passed away last night in his home in Lawrenceville, Georgia at age 76 after a battle with cancer. Morgan was a devoutly spiritual patriarch and a father of 30. His son, Singer Mojo Morgan, confirmed his father’s death to DancehallMag.

The Morgan Heritage released a statement on their father’s death, reading: “It is out of sincere love that we share that our beloved father and patriarch, The Honorable Bishop Ras Denroy Morgan has ascended. Daddy has been our light, our source of love and joy all our lives…Our family thanks you in advance for your overwhelming love and support and we ask for your continued prayers as we go through this process. We also ask that you please respect our privacy during this time of healing. Thank You!”
