RCSD Planned Work Session on School Safety

Written by on June 1, 2022

After the recent tragedies, the Rochester City School District held a virtual work session last night to discuss school safety and gun violence. The event was attended by students, parents, community members, and employees, members of the District’s safety and security team, and Superintendent Dr. Lesli Myers-Small. In addition to the discussion, the district is asking everyone to wear orange on Friday to raise awareness about gun violence and honor the lives lost to it. The City of Rochester’s skyline will also be lit in orange between June 3-5.
