R. Kelly Claims Inmates, Officials Conspired to Kill Him in Prison

R. Kelly has requested house arrest, claiming fellow inmates and prison officials plotted to have him killed.

His legal team filed an emergency motion citing a sworn statement from an inmate who says he was offered freedom in exchange for carrying out the murder. The inmate, a terminally ill gang member, ultimately warned Kelly instead.
