Going into the Memorial Day weekend it was a little crazy in the city. No, correction, it was REALLY crazy in the city especially during this pandemic.
If case you been out of the loop there was about 300 people that decided to attend a block party on Rochester’s East Side of the city.
Now I get it’s the holiday weekend with summer like weather and everyone wants to get out the house and enjoy themselves, but we can not afford the reckless behavior like we saw in the videos circulating on Facebook.
Majority of the people in that video were not wearing masks or social distancing. Plus, how can you social distance yourself in a small area with 300 people?!?
We want everything to go back to normal just like y’all, but if you’re not going to take your health serious, PLEASE be thoughtful about the people around you in your family and in this community. All it takes is one person to be infected.
