Congressman Joe Morelle met with seniors at Valley Manor to discuss threats to Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid.
He warned that a proposed budget bill could cut food aid for 3 million Americans, end health coverage for 15 million, and force over 500 nursing homes to close.
Morelle stressed the critical role these programs play in protecting older Americans’ health and financial security.
