President Elect Joe Biden Selects All-Female Senior White House Communications Team

Joe Biden recently announced that he and Kamala Harris will be appointing an all female white house communications team.

In a statement to the press, the President Elect said:

“I am proud to announce today the first senior White House communications team comprised entirely of women. These qualified, experienced communicators bring diverse perspectives to their work and a shared commitment to building this country back better.”

The team includes former Obama administration communications director Jen Psaki. Instead of her previous role, she will become the new White House Press Secretary.

Other team members include Kate Beingfield (White House Communications Director), Pili Tobar (Deputy White House Communications Director), Karine Jean-Pierre (Principal Deputy Press Secretary), Symone Sanders (Senior Advisor & Chief Spokesperson), Ashley Etienne (Communications Director) & Elizabeth E. Alexander (Chief Communications Director for First Lady Jill Biden).
