Over a Million Doses Of COVID Vaccine Were Given Last Week In New York

According to a statement by New York Governor Andrew Cuomo on Saturday, more than 1 million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine were administered last week, 200,000 of those on Friday.
The success of the mass vaccination is due in part to the “Am I Eligible” tool that helps people with underlying conditions find out if they can schedule an appointment.
Once New Yorkers know they’re eligible, they need to bring a doctors letter, medical information that proves they have the qualifications for the vaccine or a signed certification.
