OutKast is one of the best hip-hop duos in history, and their latest achievement further validates this.
Shortly after marking the 25th anniversary of their album “Aquemini”, their 2003 release “Speakerboxx/The Love Below” attained a 13x platinum certification. This milestone designates it as the highest-selling rap album in U.S. history, with 13 million copies of the iconic double CD sold. This record surpassed Eminem’s “The Eminem Show,” which received a 12x platinum certification in 2022.
