An Indiana man named Matthew Huttle, who was recently pardoned for his involvement in the January 6 Capitol riot, was shot and killed during a traffic stop by a sheriff’s deputy.
The incident occurred at 4:15 p.m. in Jasper County.
Authorities reported that Huttle resisted arrest and was found with a firearm.
An altercation ensued between him and the deputy, leading to the officer firing his weapon, which resulted in Huttle’s death.
