Older Americans Increasingly Targeted By Online Scammers

Older Americans are increasingly targeted by online scammers aiming to steal large amounts of money through various schemes. A new report from the Federal Bureau of Investigation says the problem is getting worse to the tune of $1.7 billion in 2021. According to the FBI, the number of elderly victims is rising at an alarming rate with total losses up 74% from 2021 compared to 2020.
