Obama Surprises Biden

This afternoon President Obama surprised his close friend and adviser during a tribute to the vice president. 

Biden was awarded with the highest civilian honor, the Medal of Freedom with distinction.

Biden is now the third vice president to be awarded this honor.

It was an emotional tribute and ceremony.
