NYS Troopers Will Be Out Fourth of July Weekend With Sobriety Checkpoints

Written by on July 3, 2021

This Fourth of July weekend NYS Troopers will have increased patrols on the road by adding to sobriety checkpoints. More than 9,200 tickets were issued during the Fourth of July weekend last year, with close to 200 DWI arrests.

Troopers remind citizens, if they’re drinking, to have a plan in advance and designate a sober driver. If you’ve been drinking, call a friend, family member or a taxi, ride share service or use public transportation. Click Here To Read More.
