NY Lawmakers Call for Stricter Gun Laws

With the horrific events that happened in Texas and Buffalo, New York lawmakers are debating what is next in the future of gun laws. With the shootings being only a week apart, New York Lawmakers have spoken out.

Democratic U.S. Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand stated: “These incidents are becoming all too common and point to the concerning and disgraceful rise of domestic terrorism.” Gillibrand is also calling on her colleagues to pass the domestic terrorism act and for the FBI to make the threat of domestic extremism and white supremacy a high priority.
