North West Says She Wants to Be a Rapper, Basketball Player, Artist, & More

North West has her sights set on mastering every field.

In a recent interview with i-D Magazine for their “The New Wave Issue,” the 10-year-old opened up about a range of topics, from her favorite track by her Grammy Award-winning father, Kanye West, to her aspirations for the future. These ambitions span from a short-term goal of playing professional basketball to possibly releasing a series of albums.

West said she wants to be “a basketball player, a rapper, um… Well, when I was seven, I wanted to be a boxer. But now I don’t want to be a boxer. I’m going to do art on the side. When I’m, like, thirteen, I want to walk dogs, to make money to buy art supplies, because everything around here is so expensive. So, a rapper, a basketball player, and I’m going to make artwork that I sell.” North also noted she one day wants to own her parents Ye and Kim Kardashian’s respective companies, Yeezy and SKIMS, and become a business owner.
