North Dakota Access Pipeline To Be Emptied By August 5, Pending Review

Native American and environmentalist groups have won a federal court case against Energy Transfer, the company responsible for the North Dakota Access Pipeline.
This case has been fought for years the results are finally in: the pipeline is to be shut down and emptied by August 5th.
Although the ruling can still be repealed, Standing Rock Sioux Tribe Chairman, Mike Faith sees this as a great accomplishment.
“Today is a historic day for the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe and the many people who have supported us in the fight against the pipeline,” He said in a statement to the press.
“This pipeline should have never been built here. We told them that from the beginning.”
The Texas owned oil company responded with it’s own release, saying:
“We will be immediately pursuing all available legal and administrative processes and are confident that once the law and full record are fully considered, Dakota Access Pipeline will not be shut down and that oil will continue to flow.”
