No Masks Needed For NYS Kids Going To Summer School

Kids won’t need to wear a mask, if they are going to summer school. The New York State Department of Health has changed its guidelines. According to News10NBC, the DOH sent a notice to districts saying it is now treating summer schools the same as summer camps, by encouraging face masks, but not mandating them.
Districts can still require students to wear them. To be clear, this does not mean students won’t need to wear masks in the fall, the rule only applies to summer schools. NY plans to release fall school rules in the coming weeks. To Read More Click Here.
