Nick Cannon and fans of “Wild ‘N Out” raised $25,000 for the family of the late rapper Rich Homie Quan, who passed away unexpectedly on September 5, 2024. Cannon paused a live show in Atlanta to pay tribute to the rapper by performing a medley of his greatest hits and invited Quan’s family on stage, including his father, Corey Lamar, and brother, Rich Homie Dre. Cannon presented them with a check for $25,000, of which $10,000 was contributed by fans, $10,000 by Cannon himself, and $5,000 by State Farm Arena.
This tribute took place just two days after Quan’s funeral at World Changers Church International. Rich Homie Quan was found unresponsive at his home by his brother, Andre Munford, and later pronounced dead at Grady Hospital. The cause of death has not yet been revealed. Quan was 34.
