New York State Testing New App To Reopen Entertainment Venues

The Excelsior Pass, was developed to confirm COVID-19 vaccinations and recent negative COVID-19 tests, according to the state. Confidential data transfers are intended to fast-track the reopening of theaters, stadiums and other businesses, the state said.

The new technology was tested at Barclays Center and at Madison Square Garden. Individuals can print out their pass or store it on their phones. The app is still being optimized for Apple and Google, so it is not yet available in their app stores. Click Here To Read More.
