New York Launches $250K CSA Grant Program for SNAP Users
Written by Site Hub on April 2, 2025
Applications are open for New York’s FreshConnect CSA for SNAP Grant Program, which offers $250,000 in funding to help low-income families access fresh local produce. The program subsidizes up to 50% of Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) shares for SNAP recipients. Grants between $25,000 and $50,000 are available for nonprofits, public schools, tribal organizations, and local governments. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis until July 22, or until funds run out. The initiative supports New York farmers while promoting food access equity for families in need.
