NEW WAYS TO SUPPORT BLACK-OWNED BUSINESSES
Written by Atu on August 5, 2020
Today, merchants in the U.S. with a verified Business Profile on Google can add a Black-owned business attribute to their profile. This makes it easier for customers to find and support them. It also is integrated with the Digital Skills Training program offered to Black business owners through Grow with Google Digital Coaches. This is all part of Google’s $300 million commitment to support underrepresented entrepreneurs.
By adding this attribute, people using Google Search and Maps can see businesses as Black-owned and easily show their support with purchases, positive reviews and sharing their business profile with others.
The true results will be revealed through the ambitions of the people. Information can be used in various ways. Be mindful.
