New music to look forward to in June 2020

During this unprecedented time, many people are turning to music as a distraction and outlet for their emotions.
In May, we were gifted with many great releases such as Drake’s Dark Lane Demo Tapes and Chris Brown and Young Thug’s Slime & B. June, thankfully, is set to be filled with even more highly-anticipated releases.
Run The Jewels are set to drop their first album in four years on June 5th, with an album featuring many guest artists such as Pharrell Williams, 2 Chainz and DJ Premiere.
The highly anticipated posthumous album by Pop Smoke will be released roughly a week later on June 12th. The album was announced by Pop’s family and management earlier this month and was no doubt emotional news for fans still grieving his death which happened tragically in February.
Late in June, CeeLo Green is set to release a new album named ‘CeeLo Green Is Thomas Callaway’. This will be Green’s first album since Open Heart Acoustic Live which was released in 2016. Fans are eagerly awaiting the album’s release after his single, “Doing It All Together” was released on May 20th.
