New LTL Logistics Center Brings Jobs to Rochester

A. Duie Pyle, a major transportation and logistics firm, has announced the opening of a new less-than-truckload (LTL) service center on Emerson Street in Rochester. The 6.3-acre facility features 25 service doors and is strategically located near key interstates, enhancing regional connectivity. Initially, 26 new jobs have been created—including driver, dockworker, and technician positions—with expectations to employ over 50 people by year’s end. This marks the company’s 36th location in the Northeast and is seen as a strong investment in the Rochester economy. The center will not only improve freight logistics but also contribute to job growth in the transportation sector, reinforcing Rochester’s relevance in the regional supply chain network.
