New Hotel Opens Near Strong National Museum of Play

A brand new place to stay is now available following a trip to The Strong National Museum of Play. The Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Rochester Downtown celebrated its grand opening, situated in the Neighborhood of Play on South Union Street, directly opposite the museum.
Members of the Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce are optimistic that the hotel will enhance family-oriented tourism in downtown Rochester, particularly in light of the museum’s recent growth. Bob Duffy, President & CEO, Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce, stated: “That’s how cities thrive. The investment they put in, to confidence, and I think this hotel already has taken off. t’s recognized as one of the coolest hotels in America. If you have not walked through, go through and see it. It is fabulous.”
