New Bill Could Mandate COVID-19 Vaccinate In NY State

Talk about staying woke there is a new bill that if passed will mandate the COVID-19 vaccine in New York. New York State Assemblywoman Linda Rosenthal introduced the new bill to Senate on December 4th.
The bill would require everyone that can receive the vaccine in a clinically safe manner to get the vaccine. The mandate for the vaccine would happen if the state’s vaccination efforts do not achieve the minimum results. The minimum efforts by the state would mean they have to “achieve sufficient immunity.
Public health officials would have to determine sufficient immunity. The legislation would then allow the Department of Health to require vaccination for everyone in the state.
The bill is in the Assembly committee and if passed it would go into effect immediately.
