New Act to Perform at ROC’s Jazz Fest

Written by on May 21, 2022

Rochester’s Jazz Fest is coming up and the performers have slightly changed. Country music singer Wynona Judd has canceled her upcoming appearance at the CGI Rochester International Jazz Festival due to the death of her mother. Judd’s mom passed from a self-inflicted gunshot wound on April 30 and Judd announced that she’s still taking time to process.

This year’s Jazz Fest will take place between June 17-25, and Judd was scheduled to play a free show on MLK Park Stage on June 25. To replace the country singer, the festival organizers say the critically-acclaimed Drew Holcomb & The Neighbors will step in to perform.
