Netflix Will Be Adding A Shuffle Button For Its Bravest Subscribers

Ever since July, Netflix has been testing a new feature — a shuffle button. According to a statement they released yesterday:
“We’re always looking for better ways to connect members with shows and films that they will love. We run these tests in different countries and for different periods of time – and only make them broadly available if people find them useful.”
Some viewers have admitted they are paralyzed by choice.
With so many options to choose from, many users report spending more time looking for something to watch than watching something.
The shuffle button uses an algorithm based on the current profile’s past entertainment choices and programs that were started, but never finished.
Netflix has over 193 million subscribers across the globe, and it’s trying to make things a little more fun as people spend more time inside due to the coronavirus pandemic.
