Netflix Knocks Disney Out Of The Top Spot

Netflix is on fire!
The streaming service has become the most valued media company in the United States snatching the crown from Walt Disney.
Netflix shares went up 83% this year which is huge and the internet based company is valued at $152.7 billion while Disney’s shares fell by 5% which left it’s market value at $152.3 billion.
Things should get real interesting this coming year as Disney will end licensing of it’s movies to Netflix because the company is starting it’s own streaming service.
While Netflix has signed heavyweight writers and producers like Shonda Rhimes (Scandal), and Robert Kirkman (The Walking Dead) along with deals to Michelle Obama and Barack Obama.
Clash of the Titans!
For people who consume the content provided by the two giants it will be a good year.
I’m here for it.
