Nearly 11,000 Tickets Issued in NY During July 4th DWI Crackdown

New York State Police issued nearly 11,000 tickets during the July 4th Stop DWI campaign, including 210 DWI arrests and responses to 716 crashes.

Violations include speeding, seatbelt use, and distracted driving.

Numbers were down from last year’s 12,951 tickets and 335 DWI arrests.
