Monroe County sheriff’s deputies determined a bomb threat at Nazareth University to be non-credible following a Tuesday morning investigation with K-9 units.
The threat, reported around 10 a.m. at Clocktower Commons, prompted a search involving Nazareth Security and Rochester Police.
Students were later allowed back into campus buildings.
Separately, RIT reported a “swatting incident” after a threatening email was sent to multiple people.
Deputies confirmed the email was false, and searches of several campus buildings found no actual threat.
