Naples Grape Festival: Organizers Are Playing It COVID Safe
Written by Site Hub on September 9, 2021
Get ready for the iconic Naples Grape Festival. After last year’s hiatus due to the pandemic, this year the festival will be extra safe due to COVID. The Naples Grape Festival, which is held every September with few exceptions since 1961, brings in tens of thousands of people to the village of Naples to celebrate the grape harvest and area artisans, cuisine, winemakers, musicians, and more.
The festival organizers expect to be slammed this year, as previous years have brought in somewhere between 80,000 and 100,000 people. The two-day event will run September 25-26, from 10 am to 5 pm each day. The COVID rules for those who are attending unvaccinated, which go for attendees, vendors, staff, and volunteers, must mask up at all times. For those vaccinated, vendors must be prepared to show proof, and festival-goers must also show proof of vaccination, with their card or via the excelsior app.
