MVP meaningful to all the Bills, not just Josh Allen

Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen remains a frontrunner for the NFL MVP award, and his teammates are rallying behind him, viewing the honor as a reflection of the entire team’s efforts. Allen himself emphasized that if he wins, it would be a “team award.”

For the offensive line, Allen’s potential MVP recognition holds special meaning. Tight end Dawson Knox highlighted how hard the linemen work for Allen, often without receiving due credit. Left tackle Dion Dawkins shared his pride in supporting Allen, saying, “When he wins, I feel like I’ve won.”

This season, Allen has been sacked just 14 times—the fewest in the league—thanks to the offensive line’s performance. Allen’s improved efficiency, including a drop in interceptions from 18 last year to just 6 this season, further underscores his exceptional play despite losing top receivers Stefon Diggs and Gabe Davis.

As a token of appreciation, the offensive line gifted Allen a diamond necklace with “MVP” and his number 17 engraved on it for Christmas. Dawkins joked that if Allen wins the MVP, the team might celebrate at Disney—on Allen’s tab—but added, “I’m joking, but not really.”
