Monroe County Executive Adam Bello just announced the county will put a hold on the American Rescue Plan Act funding for a program due to funds being mishandled by a local organization The Community Resource Collaborative.
After reviewing the money errors, the organization contacted Monroe County to report the mishap and dismissed an employee.
The county had engaged their Independent External Auditing Firm to begin a forensic audit and the county suspended all payments to The Community Resource Collaborative.
