Monroe County Parks Tentatively Re Opening July 1

Written by on June 24, 2020

The City of Rochester has began authorizing the parks department to let citizens make reservations for lodges and shelters at Monroe County Parks.

All reservations through June 30, 2020 were cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic.

This gives the parks department a clean slate while they begin to set social distancing guidelines that comply with the New York State limitations.

Any reservations that fell into that timeframe are be cancelled and full refunds will be given.

The parks department also said that camping is now open for reservations with COVID-19 restrictions and that playgrounds are now open.
