Over 500 youth in Monroe County will gain job experience through ROC Your Job, a $4 million after-school employment program launched in partnership with RochesterWorks.
Aimed at youth aged 14–20 from low-income households (at or below 200% of the federal poverty level), the initiative helps participants build resumes and improve future employment prospects.
Monroe County Executive Adam Bello emphasized the program’s focus on providing meaningful opportunities to economically challenged communities.
