Monroe County Hiring For Mass Vaccination Sites

Monroe County is opening mass vaccination sites again to accommodate people who want to get the booster shot. The sites will also give vaccination shots to people who have not been vaccinated.
Monroe County Executive Adam Bello announced they will be hiring more than 100 people for the mass vaccination sites. They are looking for EMTs, RN’s, and Clerks that are able to handle the paperwork. He also said there will be a “compression issue” due to the vaccinated wanting the booster along with getting people vaccinated.
The pay rate ranges from $17.50 per hour up to $28 per hour. The booster shot is expected to be available by October.
