Moments to Revisit From Coachella Weekend One

Coachella 2025’s opening weekend was a powerful celebration of Black artistry and musical excellence. Headliner Travis Scott delivered a high-energy set backed by Florida A&M University’s Marching 100 and Jackson State University’s Sonic Boom of the South. Megan Thee Stallion electrified the stage with surprise appearances from Ciara, Victoria Monét, and Queen Latifah. DJ Mustard curated a star-studded showcase with guests like Ella Mai, Big Sean, Roddy Ricch, Tyga, and 2 Chainz. GloRilla honored Beyoncé while performing her own hits, and rising star Tyla wowed fans with “Water” during her Coachella debut. Legendary rapper Missy Elliott reminded the crowd of her iconic status with reimagined performances of her classics. Additional standout acts included T-Pain, Ravyn Lenae, SAINt JHN, and D4vd.
