Naomi Campbell, one of fashion’s most iconic models, is the focus of a new exhibition at London’s V&A museum. “Naomi: In Fashion,” opening on Saturday, showcases key looks from her 40-year career, highlighting her influence and activism. The exhibition, curated by former British Vogue editor Edward Enninful, includes glamorous outfits, towering heels, fashion photos, and magazine covers.

The exhibition addresses the often overlooked role of models in fashion history. Campbell, 54, has worked with top designers like Versace, Chanel, and Dolce & Gabbana and has been a trailblazer for African designers. She was the first Black model on the covers of French Vogue, Time magazine, and American Vogue’s key September issue.

Highlighted items include a Dolce & Gabbana dress worn during community service, blue platform shoes from Vivienne Westwood’s 1993 show, and outfits by designers like Gianni Versace, Azzedine Alaïa, Kenneth Ize, and Thebe Magugu. The exhibition, running until April 6, 2025, features Campbell’s commentary on her career and a makeshift catwalk for visitors to try her runway walk.
