Mis-Labeled Packages From China Containing Seeds Have Been Arriving On Random American Doorsteps

Written by on July 27, 2020

People all over America have been receiving unsolicited packages from china that contain unidentified seeds.

In Utah, several incidents involving residents involve small packages arriving randomly saying they contain jewelry. When they opened them up, there was no jewelry inside, only strange seeds.

Similar reports have been filed in Virginia.

The Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services addressed the reports, saying they were aware or several residents getting packages in the mail containing seeds that appear to have originated from China.

Lori Culley of Tooele, Utah was interviewed by FOX 13 and said:

“I opened them up and they were seeds, obviously they’re not jewelry!”

The Virginia Department Of Agriculture and Consumer Services also said that they haven’t yet identified the species of plants yet and warns they may be invasive.

Anyone who receives these seeds in the mail should NOT throw them out, but should turn them over to the Office of Plant Industry Services.
