At a press conference held on May 13 at the Apollo Theater in New York, Mike Tyson and Jake Paul discussed their highly anticipated fight set for July 20. This eight-round professional bout, featuring two-minute rounds, will be streamed exclusively on Netflix from AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

Tyson, the former undisputed heavyweight champion, expressed excitement about fighting Paul, who has a record of 9-1. “It was a no-brainer,” Tyson said. “I like shaking the sports world to its core.”

Paul, promoting the event through Most Valuable Promotions, highlighted the significance of the fight. “This has been a long time coming,” he said. “We’re making history on the biggest platform in the world.”

The event also features a co-main event where Katie Taylor will defend her super lightweight title against Amanda Serrano in what is called “the most anticipated rematch in women’s boxing history.”
