Michigan State’s Head Coach Mel Tucker Gets $95 Million Contract Extension

Michigan State’s Head Coach Mel Tucker at College Football Coach has agreed to a 10-year contract extension worth $95 million.  Making him the highest-paid coach in the Big Ten and the second-highest paid in the country behind Alabama’s Nick Saban. The extension includes non-performance-related compensation of $9.5 million per year, including a $5.9-million base, $3.2 million for media and personal appearances, and a $400,000 contingent annual bonus. The contract runs until Jan. 15, 2032.
