Michael Jordan Reveals His Latest Venture: 23XI Racing

Written by on October 31, 2020

Back in September, Michael Jordan became NASCAR’s first Black team owner in 50 years. He let everyone know that he was there to win and had signed three time Daytona 500 champion Denny Hamlin and that he got Bubba Wallace from Richard Petty Motorsports.

People were guessing as to what he would name his team, but trademark filings let everyone know that the racing venture would be called 23XI Racing.

Jordan released a statement to ESPN that said:

“My main goal for 23XI Racing is to be competitive for a championship as soon as possible. Our partnership with Toyota and Joe Gibbs Racing gives us the equipment, resources and expertise to do it.”
