MCC Give Kids A Smile Day

This weekend, Monroe Community College hosted its Give Kids A Smile Day at their Brighton Campus. Dental hygienist students were able to get some clinical experience they need to graduate while helping kids in need learn the importance of dental care.
Nicole Pierce, an instructor at MCC’s Dental Studies Clinic, stated: “The most important thing is really to increase the access of care to these kids, making sure that they’re being checked for cavities and that we’re getting them referred in the right direction for them to get their oral health taken care of.”
