MC LYTE FILES FOR DIVORCE

After just three years of marriage, according to TMZ, Lana Moorer aka MC Lyte’s marriage has hit the ultimate rough patch because this old school Hip-Hop icon, now 49 years young, is calling it quits.
Lyte, one of Rap’s female pioneers, filed divorce documents in L.A. on Monday, August 17th. It has only been 3 years since she got married to Marine Corps veteran and entrepreneur, John Wyche. They were married at Sandals Royal Caribbean Resort in Montego Bay, Jamaica in August of 2017, after meeting on Match.com.

The only reason documented for the divorce is the usual, irreconcilable differences. There were no children created between the two. I think it’s the chance I’ve been waiting for ever since I was 12. #shootmyshot jk
